Some links on this site earn us a commission. Here is exactly how that works, so you can judge every recommendation knowing it.
The short version
If you click a partner link and buy something, the partner may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way, and we never recommend a tool because of its commission rate. Commissions cover running costs and keep the tools free.
What is currently promoted
Partner links on this site are limited to two programmes: vidIQ, a creator tool we recommend on our YouTube pages, and Wondershare, whose products appear in four placements - UniConverter at the merge step of our video download guide, UniConverter's subtitle generator on our subtitle tools, UniConverter's link-download tool on our TikTok guide, and PDFelement on our PDF tools where we point to editing, OCR and signing we do not offer. Every placement carries a visible label, opens a tracking link, and may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Any other third-party link on the site is a plain link that earns us nothing.
How placements are labelled
Recommendations carry a "Partner tool" or "Sponsored placement" label next to the link, disclosure sits beside the recommendation instead of only on this page, and outbound links use rel="sponsored" or nofollow. If a label is missing, treat the link as unmonetised and tell us so we can fix it.
How we choose
We only place tools we would use ourselves or that answer a real problem shown on the page, such as merging separate video and audio streams. No partner reviews our pages before publication, none of them can pay for a better verdict, and a commission rate is never a reason to include or rank a product.
