About this tool
What Facebook Video Downloader does
Save a public Facebook video or Reel as an MP4 with links served by Facebook itself. Paste the link, pick a quality, then download from the link. No account, no length limit, and the file never passes through ToolPouch.
- Links straight from FacebookEvery link points at Facebook's own CDN and works in your browser immediately, for roughly four days. We never store or relay the file, so there is no queue and no copy on our side.
- Video and audio often arrive separatelyFacebook usually publishes the picture and the sound as two files. Save both and merge them with any converter; some lower qualities come as a single file.
- Reels keep their vertical frameA vertical 1080p Reel is 1080 wide and 1920 tall. The quality list shows the heights Facebook actually publishes for that post, not a fixed ladder.
- Sign-in-only posts are excludedVideos that Facebook only shows to signed-in users cannot be fetched. ToolPouch never asks for your Facebook password or cookies.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is this Facebook video downloader free?
Yes. It is free, needs no account and has no length limit. Only content that Facebook restricts to signed-in users is unavailable.
Why do I get two files instead of one?
Facebook publishes most videos as adaptive streams: one file carries the picture, another carries the sound. Merging them takes one step in any converter.
How long do the links work?
Facebook signs the addresses and they stay valid for roughly four days, much longer than YouTube links. When they stop working, paste the link again to get fresh ones.
Can I download a private or friends-only video?
No. Only public posts are reachable. Private, friends-only or group-restricted videos need a signed-in session that ToolPouch does not have.
Do Reels work?
Yes. Reels are supported and keep their vertical resolution instead of being cropped or rescaled.
Why is the file size missing?
Facebook does not always report the size of its streams, so a button may show the quality without a size. The download still works.
Why did my download fail?
The link may have expired, the post may be restricted or deleted, or Facebook may have refused the request from our server. Check the message shown and try once more.
