FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does the numbering replace existing page labels?

No. Page labels are kept as they are; the numbers are written as text on the page. That also means search and print dialogs may still show the old labels.

Can the first page be left unnumbered?

Yes. Enable “Skip the first page” so a cover or title page stays clean.

Can I number only some pages?

Yes. Select the pages in the grid; only those receive a number.

Does it work on rotated pages?

Yes. The position is calculated in the rotated view you see, so numbers stay at the bottom of the page as displayed.
