- Keep page labelsRoman numerals and prefixed page numbering from each file are preserved.
- Choose the orderDrag files or use the arrow buttons; the order on screen is the order in the PDF.
- Nothing is uploadedFiles are read and merged locally, so no document leaves your device.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I combine multiple PDF files into one?
Add two or more PDFs, drag them into the order you want, choose Merge PDF, and download the combined file. No account or software installation is required.
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. The merge runs in your browser using a locally loaded library, so the files are never sent to ToolPouch.
Will merging PDFs reduce quality or compress my files?
Pages are copied into the new PDF instead of being rendered as images. Text stays selectable and embedded images are not intentionally recompressed, although the final file size may differ because a new PDF structure is written.
Are bookmarks kept when merging?
Yes. Outline entries from every file are copied and re-pointed to their new page numbers, including nested outlines and named destinations.
Why does the tool say my PDF is encrypted?
Protected PDFs cannot be opened without a password. Remove the protection in your PDF reader, then merge the unprotected copy.
Can I merge PDFs with fillable forms?
Pages are merged, but form fields stop being fillable because a PDF has one document-wide form. AcroForm fields and accessibility tags are not carried over.
Is there a size limit, and does it work on mobile?
Desktop browsers allow about 100 MB per file and 200 MB in total. It also works on iPhone, iPad and Android, with lower limits of 30 MB per file and 50 MB in total because mobile browsers have less memory.
Can I merge a PDF with JPG or PNG images?
This tool accepts PDF files only. Use ToolPouch JPG to PDF to turn the images into a PDF first, then add that PDF here.
